Projects
Iomairt Ghàidhlig Loch Abair has five priority areas for Gaelic Development. They are:
- Gaelic Medium Education
- Youth
- Training and developing resources
- Gaelic in the home and parents
- A Gaelic primary school for Fort William
Work plans with bespoke projects are designed and implemented according to the principles agreed by the Steering Group. The following list shows the projects being implemented at the current time:
- Parental Advisory Schemes
- The development of a database detailing Gaelic medium services in Lochaber

- Community Learning
- Làrach-lìn Sgeama
- Parental Advisory Scheme - Additional Training
- Social Events for GME parents
- Cooking Classes in Schools
- Skills needs survey
These projects are assessed by the Steering Group and Comunn na Gàidhlig. Some projects will be one-off events and some will be ongoing.
